JUSTIFICATION
"...As it is written, the just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17
Justification is a word developed by the Apostle Paul to explain how God absolves men of sin and simultaneously views them righteous. Justification is a declared verdict given by God. He renders those living by faith as righteous or innocent in keeping with the Greek word ‘dikaioo’, which can be translated to mean justification, absolution or acquittal. Justification is achieved on behalf of humanity through the righteous life and merits of Jesus Christ, which is imparted to the believer. Romans 5:9 states, “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
